All in all Edmonton looked bad after the first. Totally dominated that first period, but you can only dominate while killing that many penalties for so long before you get worn out. Just bad play. Sharks deserved the W on this one. I'm glad to get this first one out of the way though to be honest. Time for Edmonton to get back to the basics, namely not getting ridiculously bad penalties.

Talbot stopped 41 shots, and played great. Favorite moment of the night besides the feeling in the room after the first Edmonton goal was the Burns - Talbot show down.
