@Craig Manning Finally got to that Lindsay Ell EP and it's promising across the board, but holy fucking title track. Hot damn.

 

She's incredible. I need to listen to her EPs more.

That one has been settling as my favorite, too. Love those little guitar licks on the bridge section.

Have you checked out the new Sam Outlaw record yet? Or his first one, for that matter? I feel like you would be a fan.

Does anyone have any good pop country recommendations? Poppier the better. I'm pretty far removed from the country world so I don't know what's new or good or cool.

 

What kind of stuff do you like?

 

Everyone should check out this Rick Brantley EP. It's really something special. RIYL Springsteen. "Hurt People" was one of my top five favorite songs from last year and that's on here, along with five other new songs.

 

I'm really surprised how much I'm enjoying this new Chris Shiflett album. It's just a really good country rock album.

I'm so fucking obsessed with John Moreland lately. The songs are just incredibly good.

 

I love this one. That little acoustic riff is so catchy.

 

I can't get enough of Hal Ketchum's twin 90s peaks Sure Love and Past the Point of Rescue lately. Easily two of my favorite country records

 

The past 2 weeks have been pretty good as far as country goes. I've been loving the new Chris Shiflett, Sam Outlaw, Jason Eady, and Joseph Huber.

 

Is there at least one other fan of The Lone Bellow here?! One of my favorite bands. Can't believe they aren't discussed more.
