    Might be Spider-Man...

Never did get that last BLG record, I loved their first one.

I'm intrigued. This guy has such a great ear for melody.

Assuming this will be the indie dance pop with an '80s influence era for Martin.

Was really hoping for another BLG record after their tour last year, but I'm not surprised we aren't getting one

Man, BLG really dropped off the face of the earth.

    Thanks Sting!

And that's why you always leave a note.

The BLG debut is still one of the catchiest pop-rock records ever.

Martin can write catchy melodies for himself and others, but I feel like his own projects are constantly chasing the popular genre at the moment. It just never feels or comes across sincere for some reason.

Actually kind of sounds like The Outfield, haha. Very catchy.

I about lost it when the Sting/Police inspired sound started playing. It's just so predictable. The guy can write catchy music, but he just comes off as chasing what's popular and not sincere. That said, he is connected enough in the industry that he will do well. I'm surprised he didn't find a home writing country and pop songs for people. He's worked with some pretty big names.

I'll write you into all of my songs Supporter

Not that great of a song tbh. The harmonies are what makes it sound the Outfield.

Every song on Play Deep is better than this

  19. I honestly believe it is THE catchiest pop rock record ever.

Also, this song is catchy but it still doesn't tug at my heartstrings the way the first BLG record still does.

Really loved their debut and the second one had a few decent songs but the debut album is the only BLG I find myself coming back to. Hope he finds success with this new project.

  21. Kinda like the new song. I'll go to my death defending Love Drunk too, that album is about as perfect pop-rock as an album can be.

I agree, I don't think BLG got enough credit for those first two albums.

I remember people ripping them for having that song that sounded like bon jovi or something

  24. More bands should rip off Bon Jovi
