Im actually a little sad. If they had brought AJ over and moved ROman to Smackdown, I'd basically have no reason to watch Smackdown going forward. Could have gotten 2hrs back each week

 

AJ could easily be going to RAW still you geeks

 

I'm thinking SD gets KO, Sami, Enzo and Cass, The Club, Rusev*, Jinder and the Axe Man

(Rusev not announced, but he'll return to Smackdown)

 

Why didn't they just do the old draft method with the little music

 

Wonder what Rowan and Harper do now that Bray is gone.

 

Im thinking KO, Joe, New Day, another tag team (Club is my guess), Charlotte, Emma, Rusev, and then jobber filler.

Either way, the Smackdown mid-card is really dead. Randy/AJ/KO/Shinsuke/Joe could carry the top card for a while til Cena is back. But its Harper, Corbin, and who else to fill out the US title picture? They'd need a team like Cesaro/Sheamus to move over and split to help

 

Joe would make sense, let him continue his thing with Kevin, but looked like we're getting a Joe vs Seth thing.

Harper, Corbin, Sami, Ziggler, and Tye make a fine enough mid card, gets even better once Rusev rejoins the mix. Cesaro/Sheamus could help but they are just getting good as a tag team.

 

I know Smackdown has been magic and all, and I felt the same way after the draft in July where I thought Smackdown was screwed. But that's a list of guys that have either never held a main roster singles title or where WWE has done everything to hurt their long term credibility via booking (Ziggler/Rusev). They may pull it off, but, as a draw, trying to sell out house shows....thats a STEEP uphill climb.

 

It sounds like payback may be interpromotional so Seth and Joe could happen there along with KO/Jericho and Bray/Randy

 

I don't see Joe selling any ticket AJ and Nakamura won't already sell

 

i'm enjoying sami's new character, cory from boy meets world

 

If Sami stays on Raw, I'd love it if "Someone interrupts Sami while he is talking with Kurt, gets put in a match with Sami later that night" becomes a weekly thing.

 

Saxton and Otunga are switching shows.

Graves got his wish, but I bet in the end he'll wish he didn't.

 

i was going pretty fast on dvr for raw tonight but did the crowd really chant 'you deserve it' while Strowman was murdering him? lmao

 

wait really? Corey's ribbing of Saxton is the only thing that makes Saxton tolerable.

So now Raw has every title and SD has no women's division...

 

Went through this, what a weird, confusing thing this shakeup was. People just randomly appearing, what seems like most of Smackdown's top talent raided (and I'm still not convinced we won't have Shane exiling AJ to Raw tomorrow night but I hope not). The women's division is looking like what I thought it'd be (kinda glad to see the Mickie/Alexa dynamic continue), I assume Charlotte and maybe Emma are out. Out of all of this all I can really say is that I'm looking forward to Balor vs Bray even though that's yet another losing feud for Bray. At least this week gave us Braun endlessly beating the shit out of Roman.

Oh, and yes, fuck the Byron and Otunga swap. The only redeeming thing about Byron is Corey ripping on him constantly.

 

I assume that no one who appeared tonight would appear on SD tomorrow.
