Do you know where to find the rest of his ratings for that event?

He'll certainly need to eliminate those massive headbutts he dishes out in his matches. That one in particular from yesterday was fucking brutal. It looked amazing but obviously in the end wasn't worth it.

I don't think he posted them yet. They mentioned it in passing and said he has the #1, 2, and 4 match of the year so far in terms of ranking. Craziness.

Ah ok thanks. Looking through the cards for the upcoming shows (posted on reddit) there are a lot of fun and intriguing matchups coming up.

I want WWE to have a gay character, but then I think about how WWE handles basically everything and I cringe. No way Vince could stomach a good wrestler who just happens to be gay. He'd have to go all in on the cliches and stereotypes.

I have no problem with WWE having a gay character of course, but it's virtually impossible for them to do it without it looking tasteless.

is it wrong that I think they're setting up billie kay and peyton royce to be a couple if they eventually get called up?

Hm so it looks like the fantasy league season doesn't start til may 22nd. "Summerslam season", which is actually pretty cool how they do it. So we have some time to figure out logistics aka enough time to convince @Henry to commish it.

The issues with a LBGTQ performer would be the same issues as the "women's revolution", but turned up to 11 - with each accomplishment the performer achieved, WWE would pat itself on the back for "making history" and "breaking down barriers" that their deep-seated carnie way of business are responsible for putting up in the first place.

  11. WWE always has to take credit for something. That's always been a problem.

the issue I see is how you do it in a way that makes it the big deal that it is without giving off that self-congratulatory vibe.

imo for something like that to happen in a non-self-congratulatory way you'd probably first have to have a big star come out like, after they're done with the WWE

I think it would be cool to have a competitor only address their sexuality themselves. Be it on twitter, a WWE.com interview, etc. Don't have it mentioned in a storyline whatsoever. Maybe have the person address it on the mic after a big win. Actring like it's not a big deal would be, ironically, the biggest deal to those who identify in a similar way sexually. That will never happen though.

Yeah, making it a gimmick is just a bad idea.

I don't think fantasy wrestling is probably fun... like it's mostly predictable and scripted so... I don't get it TBH

I feel like I'd just pick guys who win all the time and crush all you nerds easily

Well, and the point of the womens revolution was "we're gonna move on from cat fight storylines to make them more like the men". So what would the WWE's angle even be with an LBGTQ wrestler? They basically dont have a history, except for a few really embarrassing moments.

Not to mention the amount of nuance it would require to run a feud thats about homophobia or bullying or anything in that realm. WWE just doesnt have that ability right now, except maybe with some really minor storyline on Smackdown (since talking smack could allow for more real talk).
