So, I'm playing Borderlands 2 again. For the 15th time or something haha. It's my first time in UTVHM, though, after getting all six characters to level 50 and keeping them there for the longest time to trade weapons with each other haha. Three more levels until Maya hits that sweet spot with Cataclysm and maxed out Sub-Sequence, I can't wait.

(@lightning13 I know, I still need to finish FFXIII! I've been feeling like shit lately, though, so I wanted to revisit something familiar to de-stress.)

haha don't worry, it's a long game with a lot of cutscenes and some of the boss battles are unforgiving.

 

omg the cutscenes! I was like, "I'm finally at the open-world portion of the game!" and then there are still cutscenes... haha

 

so I've never really played any jrpgs, the super fantasy and stories never really interested me. but I was watching my buddy play person 5 and that looked pretty rad and I liked the art and story. he was telling me about persona 4 golden, and I've been looking into perhaps picking that up for my vita today. any thoughts from anyone about either of those games?

 

Persona 4 Golden is probably one of my favorite games ever and if you liked the look and style of P5, then it'll be right up your alley.

 

If you have a Vita and not p4g that seems like a huge mistake.

 

Persona 4 is my favorite JRPG. Highly recommend

 

I think you can't go wrong with P4, if you like it you can work your way into the genre from there depending on what you like about the game

 

haha yeah it's on every list of "what games to get for your vita". I'm relatively new to the vita world. got it mainly to have a "playstation switch" when the tv is occupied and to play the uncharted game on it, but I've been diving way more into it.

I appreciate all the responses. i'll be picking it up on my way home today as long as the gamestop has it, app says they do haha.

The Holy Grail of Zelda glitches has been found - Skipping the Barrier outside of Hyrule Castle in The Wind Waker. It was long thought to be impossible but now it can be done with enough speed and hitting a few pixel wide "crack" in the barrier.

It's trivial on the HD Wii U version since there's ways to get stupid fast speed Barrier Skip Attempts (Confirmed Legit)

It's not fully possible yet on the SD Gamecube version since you need a minimum speed of 35 and the fastest known obtainable speed is 30. But if we can bridge that 5 speed gap, it can be done. This tweet shows it done with a speed hack

Regardless, it's incredibly neat to finally see this be possible after years of theorizing.
