Hot take: If you don't buy whole chickens you're a boob.

 

i buy chicken breasts with the bone in and debone bc it's so much cheaper

i would waste so much of a whole chicken

 

I buy all natural, boneless, skinless chicken breasts that are individually vacuum sealed and I leave them in the freezer to make simple weeknight dinners. That said, whole chickens are awesome.

oh man, I love my chicken on the bone.

 

I would be lying if I said I never bought individual cuts of chicken. But seriously, everybody should learn to butcher a chicken. It's way cheaper, plus you can make your own chicken stock.
