That's true but they still need to come up with the ideas for each game almost immediately after finishing their last one to keep up that process. It also creates the problem of having to coordinate different groups of people into working on products that still feel like they're coming from a singular vision. I think a single team with games coming out every couple of years is preferable, in terms of artistic cohesion and giving them time to breath.

I never revisited 1, and it's probably for the best. I played it when it first came out and loved it, but I know that if I tried to go back to it now it would be a chore.

I've enjoyed nearly all Ubisoft games, and the hate for them is pretty extreme when other companies get a pass for worse. I say it every time it comes up too

 

Valiant Hearts went from being a cool looking game I got for free with PS Plus to being in my top five games of all time. I was so enthralled with the story, the art, the music, the historical facts in the menu. Any time someone asks me for game recommendations, that's easily one of them.

 

This is why the Xbox is a success despite the narrative

Yearly releases is probably why you see the ubi hate. Hell most franchises that get dragged are those that release yearly.

It becomes exhausting at a certain point, I mean ubisoft games don't appeal to me at all anymore but that's ok, not gonna hold a silly vendetta against them for it.

 

I would recommend Syndicate and Black Flag. I loved AC2 but I don't know how well that aged, but I played sooooo much of Syndicate. really enjoyed the story and side quests. and Black Flag I can't get enough of.

 

xbox love is great with design and store is easy to manage.

 

I personally think Xbone's UI is unituintive and much more cumbersome than it should be, but their store is much better than PSN.

 

The Ubisoft conversation inspired me to put on Rayman Legends for the first time in a couple of weeks. I love this game.

Not a fan of Nintendo's either. You can only buy set $ amounts instead of a game individually. For example, I had to buy $50 to Nintendo store for a $39.99 game

 

Whichever company lets me remove anything I want from their system's main menu will earn my money.

that's why watch dogs 2 is OK tho is what i'm saying, it's not cluttered with collectibles, and the collectibles u do get are actually worth something :D

 

I thought JC3 sucked honestly. It wasn't anything special at all.

GTA V was fun, but I don't have a huge desire to go back to it. Multiplayer is a micro transaction field day, which is odd that they don't get hammered for it more compared to other games that have them.

WD2 was extremely fun, probably the most fun I've had in a game of that vein in a while.

I'm bouncing between Persona 5 and Phoenix Wright: Spirit of Justice right now. Loving both.
