    Sometimes I will starve myself the entire day so I can eat two spicy chicken sandwiches and stay under 1500 calories.

    I'm super healthy.

    I've been doing really good on my diet. Then last night i got in my feelings and got really high and made a hash with some leftover roast and ate a lot of ice cream and I'm too scared to weigh today.

    I think the hardest thing for me when the lady and I started eating better and exercising was that if I ate a piece of pizza and went over my calorie limit or didn't feel like going to the gym and took a nap instead I would just treat myself like shit. I would feel guilty and worthless and it made the first couple of months kind of unbearable. You're gonna fuck up. It's probably good to fuck up some times. You gotta forgive yourself.

    Besides, I think you're sexy just the way you are.

    Like intuitively I know I shouldn't eat at Taco Bell, but I'm going to do it anyway sometimes.

    It's kinda hard to understand. I have been researching for a while before I got it. It's about eating when your body feels hungry and eating until your body starts to not feel so good. Like diets you aren't allowed to eat the fattening stuff where this isn't about restricting you it's about eating slow and stopping when you start to feel gross. It's a little out there but when we're born we intuitively eat. Cry when we're hungry, are fed, then feel good until we're hungry again. Diets don't work to the extent of keeping the weight off and intuitive eating gets easier over time and if you're carrying more weight you can lose weight and if you're really small you may gain weight bc it gets you to your healthy weight that you need to be able to function with a healthy body. It's hard to explain but that's the gist. You don't have to deprive yourself of that piece of chocolate bc if you do you're going to obsess over it and most likely lead yourself to binge eating it later.

    EDIT: it doesn't mean you can eat like shit though.

    I need structure though. I'd fuck that shit up. Without specific limits I just eat and feel like garbage.

    Oh yeah, she definitely stresses about how sometimes you just forget to listen like I tend to dive head first into work and it'll be way after the time I should have already eaten so it's a lifestyle change that you really have to prepare for. I don't listen to my body I just think in terms of fuel and caffeine which is awful. I just want to feel better and I think this will help. I know for a fact I'll fuck up but she says that's expected in the beginning.

    Yea I think it really makes sense in this context. I always skip meals when working, and then when I'm off I probably over eat cuz I've been hungry all day.

    Yep, exactly right. I tend to reward myself too at the end. I'm like I've worked so hard that I deserve this family sized bag of skittles or whatever junk food.
