Stoked you like it. This album flows so well, I can't get over how good it was on first listen!

It's really good, I'm just dissapointed you truly only get 9 songs...

  5. Length isn't really bothering me. As much as I'm loving this, by the time the ender starts, it feels appropriate for it to be over. Pretty quick, concise listen. Could also just be how I feel about that last song too though haha. I love American Candy so this isn't really meant to be a dig, but the ender here just sounds like a b-side from that album, whereas the rest definitely feels like a progression.

A lot of the tones throughout the album sound like a mix of American Candy and Black and White to me.

This is such an awesome album. Been a fan of these guys since The Way We Talk EP and it's pretty cool to see how much they've grown as artists. Already gone through this about three times.

Album is definitely lean but I appreciate the fact that I don't think there are any tracks worth skipping.

That really caught me off guard. I had no idea the album has these interludes. Loved it.

Already my second favorite The Maine album behind Pioneer (taking nostalgia out of the equation). Black Butterflies is one of the best songs they've done.

Wow this is amazing. This might be their best album yet. Such an enjoyable listen from start to finish. This feels like the album they've been wanting to make ever since Pioneer. I also agree on the interludes. I was not expecting that at all, but I loved it. I love when an album flows so beautifully. The length is not a problem. It's about the same as American Candy, and Lonely feels like a full song to me still, so I'd still consider it having 10 proper songs. I really hope they do another full album tour for this. It would be awesome to see this one all the way through live. I Only Wanna Talk To You is an early favorite.

After listening again, still a fantastic album, and very well constructed. Going to need to warm up to the last 2 tracks before I say AOTY material, but I can definitely see it getting there in a few months.

Gave this another full listen on a drive this morning.

This is AOTY material for me. The fact that it's even contending with Yellowcard which is my favorite band of all time is absolutely remarkable

they do need to release another Pioneer-esque album with like 50 minutes and a bunch of country-influenced tracks though cause those were brilliant

American Candy is an excellent summer album but it's pretty clear to me this is a tremendous step up for them.

I honestly think this is a better album than S/T, which is saying a lot because I love that record too
