I wouldn't be surprised if it became possible to max the whole shebang with the DLC. I've been focusing on stamina, because the way I see it, you can get some heart containers by doing the main quest, but there's no other way to grab stamina vessels.

 

The fire one? If so, fuck that one.

 

I thought I would hate it at first because it would be too fiddly, but every step felt like a fair challenge and I loved how it all came together at the end

 

I just spent days trying to figure out how to get passed the last fire part. Didn't even think about what ended up being the solution.

 

What was your solution?

if it's the shrine I'm thinking about I used stasis on the ice, hit it a bunch and quickly suspended the block to cover the fire once stasis was over

 

haha, if we are thinking of the same shrine, you may have over thought that one.

the block survives if you just throw it through the fire

Not sure. I had zero issue avoiding enemies almost entirely

 

wait really? That is rather disappointing.

 

So how is this month's on? Does the overworld get boring after 10 hours, 20, 50?

 

I'm about 50 hours in and there are still 6 areas I haven't even been to.

 

Any tips on how to parry? I somehow did it successfully twice in a row, but never again. I let myself die to recover the shields I lost and now I can't repeat.

 

Just beat Ganon...not really a challenge if you're prepared. The Lynels are still by far the toughest enemies in this game.

 

Honestly Ganon and the end of the game was probably the most disappointing thing about this for me.

 

Also disliked how the game saves to right before the Ganon fight. You can't continue to do side quests in a post-Ganon world.

 

Been the case in every Zelda game. I agree though, it sucks.

 

Yeah but those games we're obviously a lot more linear. Never felt reason to go back and do things once I beat Ganon. I want to do SO much more after this one.

 

I haven't done a divine beast yet, more interested in all the side stuff. I'm on 24 shrines and now I've bought my house. I couldn't resist!

 

How/where do you buy a house?

Hatareno Village. Near the shrine. You can store weapons there and sleep!

 

When i pass that village I unconsciously start singing Relient's K local construction. But replacing it with Bolson construction haha
