My biggest issue with that quiz is a) I've really never spent much time with AWKIF b) I really enjoy the interludes on S/T for what they are - interludes. But it's hard for me to rank them against full songs.

Sounds like someone needs to listen to the Deluxe edition self-titled

Ha! I promise I have. Just not very much, to be honest. I adore the self titled album, too.

Yea I listened casually back when Misery Business was good, but I didn't really get into them when they played a handful of warped dates in 2011 I think. That's when I really fell in love with them, and specifically with Brand New Eyes. I've always meant to go back and dive in to All We Know, but I just haven't gotten around to it and since they barely play any of it live, I haven't been incentivized to actually do it. Maybe I'll finally get around to it today.

  8. it's my favorite of theirs. probably mostly because of all the nostalgia i have for it. so many memories. and i also joined their street team after that one came out, and i was sent like a MILLION paramore stickers and sampler CDs, haha. that was fun. i felt cool, haha.

They're probably my favorite band from "the scene" so this was fun but super difficult. My top 10 is pretty solid, but I would probably re-arrange the others a bit. Also, I wish the quiz included the 3 songs from the singles club EP, and Monster, but that's just the completionist in me.

I get Future being in the bottom 10 for someone if A) they hadn't seen the writing the future tour or B) they were not a fan of the kind of awkward sound fade in and fade out. I liked that much more after seeing how they did it live.

Yea stuff like that makes a huge difference looking back at albums. When you connect to an album like that, it just kind of sticks with you always. I'll definitely give it a proper listen soon though.

I didn't think about that. Seeing that show definitely took that song to new heights. One of the best finales to a concert that I've ever seen.

    Side note: I can't believe it's been 2 years since they've toured.

I just think the first half of Future is so good.

Future is so good because it sounds like Paramore doing Now, Now

  15. I completely forgot about the 2011 EP. As I remember Monster was good tho a bit generic, and that folk-y song was pretty good. Didn't like the others because they seemed like bsides.

In the Mourning is one of my favs, Hello Cold World was great, Renegade was decent, don't really like Monster.

Don't know enough Paramore to do one of these lists but Franklin and Conspiracy are in my top 5 of all their songs..so I'm either in the minority or need to do much deeper exploring

  22. I love a lot of the Riot b-sides just as much as the album tracks.

my semi-hot take is that RIOT! is clearly their worst album for me.

It's banger after banger tracks 1-8, but man those last 3 are just not good.

  24. so you don't like the last 8 out of 11 isn't bad at all! and then you get the self titled where there's like... half good songs, 1/4 meh songs, and 1/4 throwaways. just too many songs.

Fences and Born for This are two of the best on there! I think AWKIF is clearly their worst. Has a couple of their best songs but it's mostly forgettable to me.
