I wonder if they'll use that kid for every future music video. Would be interesting.

I would guess they have one more video for the album.
Stay with me seems like it would thematically make sense. Maybe the closer as well

I wish I liked Beggars more than I do. I gave it another chance a year ago and it just is kinda okay to me, like I don't hate it but I have no desire to come back to it.

I love the first half of Beggars, then the 4 next songs are just good and then the title track is awesome. In fact the only song I don't like so much is Talking Through Glass.

I love At The Last and Wood And Wire. Talking Through Glass has been one of my favorite jams lately too. Beggars is pretty top notch stuff from beginning to end. The only song that I feel goes through the motions a little but his The Great Exchange, but I enjoy the atmosphere that song creates. It offers a nice breather after Talking Through Glass and before the title track, which is one of the best songs they've ever released

Srsly it might have the most immediate guitar riff they've ever done

The only thing I don't like about Beggars is I like Doublespeak but don't like it's chorus. But I understand why others do. Then maybe one other odd track that's not amazing. Otherwise incredible album for me

Doublespeak and The Great Exchange are the only songs I don't love from Beggars at this point, but they both offer some things I enjoy. I really like the piano on Doublespeak and that song can pack a punch when it wants to

  17. "Doublespeak" was my favorite song for a while, but I agree that the chorus is its weak spot. The verses slay, though, and I wish Thrice would incorporate more piano parts like that.

  18. hahah funny funny.

I've been at a point for a few years now where Illusion, Vheissu, Beggars, and Major/minor are basically all tied for my top spot, hahah

  19. I have zero idea(s).

Great Exchange is one of my favorite Thrice songs. I like that side of their style the most.

Speaking of Talking Through Glass, I wonder if it was an intended reference in the Hurricane video with the wall of glass and the swingsets?

I like every song on Beggars, but don't really listen to it as a whole very much. For me its too much of the same stripped down slower sounding songs in a row. I usually mix them in with the rest of their discography for a nice mix.

I'd love to hear them return to that style more in the future like they did on Beggars and the Alchemy Index. I know they've put out Words In The Water, Disarmed, and Salt And Shadow, but beyond those songs it's just been sections of songs that call back to that style.

Even though on album they aren't my favorites, I think they come to life live. Wood and Wire, Double Speak and Circles all sound so incredible live it gave me a new appreciation of them. I'd love to see them do Disarmed live.
