I watched it like four times yesterday, basically whenever I saw the link. I do feel like the stuff on earth was kind of rushed, but it was so so packed to begin with

 

Fuck, I can't believe how good that was. Such an unbelievably satisfying payoff for the impossible amount of suspense we were left in with S2. Sooooooo pumped for this summer

 

There is no way someone actually pays that much

 

I guess they took it down already knowing it was a joke because the link a friend posted on Facebook doesn't work anymore.

What a crazy episode. Not sure about the ending though, feels like Rick saying he did everything just to get back at the government/Jerry is fine, but to say he doesn't care about the kids kind of takes away from the emotional beats of the Season 2 finale. Also the show needs Jerry!

 

Pickle Rick was in a promo for the rest of the season. Looks like it'll be its own episode at some point. Phoenix Person was in the tag.

 

Just thinking about it made me laugh out loud.

That joke doesn't make sense at all but it's just so hilarious.

 

Crazy how much hype there is over this Szechuan sauce haha. Amazing episode though, anyone know when the season will start proper?

Agreed, but I think that's just Rick being his typical self, trying to keep that tough exterior. The "Evil Rick/Morty" episode showed that he cared for Morty, as did him continuing Morty's adventure after what happened with Jelly Bean king. Plus, his reaction at the end of the Unity episode also shows that the man certainly feels things. I think we'll see more character development regarding that over the season.

 

Yeah, those were all the instances I meant when I said the ending was undoing the story they set up that he does actually care. I think you may be right though, or I hope, that it's just an act

 

The mere fact that Rick *wants* to be the head of the family shows that he, in some way, cares about them

 

Random thought: Did anyone happen to notice if Doofus Rick was involved in this episode?

So how many of the Rick's are dead? Almost all of them and all their Morty's?! Crashing that spaceship into the federation. Then the all out battle. He want's to be the only Rick in existence!!
