As shitty as it is that Bray lost, you were a fool if you really thought he'd win.

 

Hey I'm just saying. In all honesty though with how he's been booked and the fact he was feuding with Orton is what put the writing on the wall.

 

I'm sober now and I still think it was a solid Mania. Still bitter about Orton, but unfortunately it's expected with WWE.

Truly hope Taker is done. He's not himself in the ring anymore and it's incredibly sad to watch.

 

I is here. Loved most of it. (Cruiserweight, AJ/Shane, KO/Y2J, DELETE!!!, Seth/Haitch..)Started going downhill with Orton winning. Pissed me off.. and the main event was horrific but my friends and I had a good laugh. Felt bad thats how Taker went out, should have retired with the streak in tact after 28 or 29. But his farewell was very well done.

 

Still mad that the Hardyz came out as soon as I left my buddy's.

I don't necessarily agree that Taker should've gone out at WMXXX, but I do agree he should've hung it up after the feud with Brock as a whole. I loved their feud, with the whole "old cowboy with nothing to lose" routine, resorting to low blows and revealing his mortality, etc. That Hell in a Cell match between those two was just awesome, and in a perfect world, that match would've been the one they had at WMXXX. It would have been perfect.

 

It's amazing how dead the crowd was for the 2nd half of the show.

When it came down to Charlotte/Bayley, I got genuinely worried Charlotte was going over again. Felt too "Vince" for it not to go that way

No doubt. Roman looked so sad after that match too...like he knew he would never recover from this. Only way they can possibly pay it off is have him immediately own it and keep getting cockier until he turns heel.

Even then; he retired the Undertaker as Vince's guy, instead of the Taker/Cena match that was supposed to happen.

I got really excited when they did the first maggot thing. Thought Bray was finally gonna become the god he claimed. Still some really cool ring psychology in that match, but, what a shit ending.

 

I hope so, Meltz knew about it 3 months ago lol.

 

Also, that CW match to start the show was a letdown. Im glad it was on the pre-show and had a screwy finish; maybe they'll put on a great match at Payback. But on the main show, that thing would have been more plodding than KO/Jericho and HHH/Seth.

 

See that I had no clue about lol.

 

All I know is this Mania went by a lot faster than last years. It was the smoothest experience getting in and out and getting food/going to the bathroom in stadium.

In person, the only match that was boring to me was randy/bray. I'm sure I'd have different opinions if I watched it at home.

 

What's crazy to me is that I saw Undertaker wrestle at a PPV 23 years ago and he probably maybe most likely just retired last night

 

It's amazing to me how little chemistry Randy/Bray have. Dud after dud with them.

Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if Randy is less than thrilled with the booking himself. He did an interview with I think Sports Illustrated or Rolling Stone around the time they won the tag titles, and gushed about how reinvigorating it was to have a new layer to his character to play with, etc, and said he hoped that story lasted some time.

 

I was kind of distracted during the Triple H/Rollins match because I was sitting a few rows behind Kenyon Martin and he was sooo close to fighting some younger dude in a Roman Reigns vest. It pissed me off honestly.

 

That HHH/Seth match was the most HHH match ever...takes 25+ mins to get 15mins of spots...but it worked out pretty perfectly overall. For as good as Smackdown has been as a weekly show, none of their (non-Shane) matches delivered, while RAW had multiple great matches.

 

Tonight SHOULD rule.

 

I always wonder if Taker finds it hard to say no to Vince.

 

Had the exact same feeling. I wasn't dying to get out of the stadium like I was last year. All of the matches felt good last night, even if some of the finishes were weird. Bray/Orton was the only thing that left a bad taste in my mouth. Taker was bad, but I at least felt the need to enjoy the match for what it was knowing it was his last one.

I was bothered by the fact that they ran out of chicken fingers 3 matches into the show, at least where I was. Major bummer
