As others have said I had no idea Geoff struggled with addiction, and that's really cool he talked about addiction in general.

Honestly I always assumed he was straight edge, but now thinking about it Empty Glass would contradict that.

When I saw him play solo in 2012/13 he was extremely candid about stuff between songs. I was definitely surprised by some of the things he said.

I saw Geoff solo twice. The one time he opened for Yellowcard (I think on the acoustic OA tour,) and he was blatantly trashed.

Saw him on the acoustic basement tour and he was definitely way off at that show too.

I've been relistening to Thursday a lot lately to prep for their show and it's just amazing. When I first got into this band I really liked them but there was a certain disconnect because of their inactivity. It was still great to listen to them but it just wasn't getting that personal impact.

Now that I'm listening to them more all of the songs are really impacting me and knowing that I'll get to hear some of these great songs live makes it way more meaningful. So excited for the show

Basement is playing before Thursday instead of Touche and I know that's determined by relative size of fanbase and everything but goddamn if there was justice basement would play first. Wax Idols rules btw

Memories are nice, but that's all they are. Prestigious

Basement and Touché have rotated each night

I'm disappointed all the same that I get a shorter Touche set and a longer Basement one. But disappointed in the sense that I'm still seeing touche and Thursday and saw a new band I liked and so this is minor at best

I GOT TURNPIKE DIVIDES and also the setlist and also uuuh I gave them so much money but I feel good about it. Geoff said the last time they were in Atlanta that he was sick and was puking in the bathroom the whole time so the audience had to sing the songs. Rough

Someone shouted for deadbolt during Sparks against the sun and afterwards Geoff said "that was such a good burn, and I couldn't even respond because...I was singing."

That's awesome haha. Although I hope Geoff's not forgetting about the real last time they were in Atlanta aka their comeback shows and they were on fire!

Also Geoff RT'd this yesterday. I listened to both parts last night and it's a really great listen.

Was their last shoe in Atlanta the show with Taking Back Sunday and Colour Revolt? If so, I was at that show.

I'm not sure TBH I don't think I was a fan then. But that sounds right to me, p sure that was around the release of No Dev, right?

On that note I think I was the most hype person for the two No Dev songs that got played, as well as for Beyond the Visible Spectrum. I'd also like to comment the crowd for Thursday was incredibly diverse -- people of all ages, though skewed slightly older, and lots of girls and poc. It was really really nice. It was also the friendliest pit I'd ever seen(from the outside), smiles all around

I've seen him solo twice and he was great both times. His performance of Time Arrow is haunting. The one time I saw Geoff, he was opening for John Nolan, so the two did a lot of songs together, which was really cool.

    RIP Supporter

I don't think it was that tour. It was at The Loft, sometime in November, I think, but I can't remember who opened for the life of me. Was kind of a bummer that he kept having to leave the stage to puke, but it was pretty neat seeing people from the crowd sing different parts of JBNY at the end.

pretty bummed work prevented me from going last night.

I know Five Stories Falling was forced out and the band didn't like it and all that, but I listened to it on my way to work this morning and I love some of those live versions. So good.

Did they not like five stories falling? They play the shit out of jbny and those other songs are staples if I recall the tracklist right

Geoff told people not to buy it, but to just download JBNY instead.

Oh gotcha. Was it on Victory? Are Thursday still in debt to Victory?
