I feel like Bobby Roode and Shinsuke don't have great chemistry. The crowd is pretty dead right now

 

Is it just me or does this arena feel really small for it's size? I looks like the floor is like 5 rows deep.

 

I think its at Amway Center, that's where they usually have Smackdown when they are in Florida so maybe they set up the floor different for this event

 

Roode looking like Nakamura squandered up the money to send Greg Valentine to Roode's dressing room to put him in an armbar for two and a half hours

 

Still kinda bored by Roode. Sorry. Nakamura looked great though. Stick him on smackdown already

 

So all heels won tonight except for Black?

Actually, I've been far more impressed with Roode over Nak during their feud. Especially highlighted after watching with a 10 year old tonight who has never seen the product before. He kept pointing out Nak no-selling the knee, which I feel like has been especially apparent in all his encounters with Roode.

 

What kind of smarky ass 10 year olds are you hanging out with that complain about people no-selling?

 

I think its just Roode's in-ring style. His constant going for the knee just doesn't make me dislike Roode as a heel, but also just makes me tune out of the match. I donno. I just found myself tuning out a lot during their first match, and this one wasn't a whole lot better.

match was better than I was expected though and Takeover was still everything I wanted it to be so can't complain.

unless Nak doesn't show up on Tuesday in which case RIOT

 

I mean let's call a spade a spade Roode is champ cause he's got a fire ass theme that's over as hell not cause he's particularly entertaining from bell to bell.

Also Nak has been phoning it in since Novemberish.

 

Guys, he's a total smark without me even trying to make him one! He seriously said to me at one point, "Why is the Japanese guy not selling?" 30 minutes after I taught him what the term was. The only thing he knew about wrestling going into tonight was that it's not "real." So he kept asking me all the inside baseball questions about how everything works. Wanted to know if they ever really get hurt, so I had to teach him all about botching and showed him pics of Aries's eye. He was totally with all of it, wanting to know all the little ins and outs. I've never been so proud. Helps that the kid is a legit genius and super mature for his age.

If you're curious, Ember Moon vs Asuka was his favorite match of the night, even though the tag match was really "savage." I think he's got a little crush on Ember. He was really digging those blue contacts

Feels like Dillinger is just the next Tyler Breeze - insanely over with NXT crowds never gets a big win and creative has nothing for him on the main roster
