Does anybody have recommendations as far as where to start looking for cheap-ish acommodations (either an area of the city or a particular hotel that may have sneaky good deals)? We want to make sure we book a hotel early this year. Last year we had an airbnb figured out months beforehand and they cancelled with no warning the night before we got to Chicago, and we ended up spending a lot on a hotel last minute.

 

What's your budget, and will you have access to a vehicle?

 

I personally need help with the same things. I'm trying to keep it as low priced as possible, and I'll be driving.
