I'm still mad about where it is, but fuck this looks cool. Not paying the outrageous prices for the home opener but I'll probably cave and head to the Saturday or Sunday game.

As someone that sweats an absurd amount, these mesh-backed seats they're sitting in doing this interview look pretty nice.

 

It looks to me like the upper decks aren't as far behind the lower decks if that makes sense.

People were saying Freeman was hot in pre-season. I hope he stays hot.

Man I hope he can stay healthy and play up to his potential all season.

 

Watching this game on TV... Suntrust Park reminds me of Pittsburgh's stadium with that bricked setting behind the plate. Just not used to a Braves game with this sort of scheme. It's always been that bright blue walls with the yellow trim.

 

every player gotta walk up to Huey Lewis.

 

They actually mentioned that on the stadium preview show before the game. Said they're more "on top" of them on purpose to provide a little more cover and to get everyone a little closer to the field.

I'm really bitter because my work allowed us to wear our football jerseys every week for football season.

I ask if we can wear baseball jerseys for the opening day of baseball and they were like nah.

This will be the first year I don't have cable so all my baseball "watching" will be through the free version of At Bat and watching play-by-play online

 

This happened to me at the last place I worked. I even submitted a request to the people in charge stating my case. The response I got was "do people even like baseball?" I was furious
