I think Detroit will beat Tampa. No Stamkos. Howard or Mrazek need to be solid though.

 

Both teams seemingly limped into the playoffs, but with the injuries hitting TB, I can see DET taking the upset.

The only other "upset" I can see is CHI over STL...I mean, this season was one of CHI worst in the past five or six years but STL playoff history doesn't really give me confidence they can win.

 

I just remembered that I promised to my cousins who are visiting to the movies tonight. So at 8PM I'll be bored as hell during Batman v Superman instead of watching the Rangers get crushed.

 

Both those deals are fucking awesome. Can't wait until we sign Stamkos for like 6M.

Yeah STL is a great team but in the playoffs they choke. Toews, Kane, Hossa, Crawford can handle the pressure come playoff time which is the reason I think CHI will beat STL.

Honestly the only series that I see as a no brainer is Dallas over Minnesota. Even Philly v. Washington seems like it could be a fight to the bitter end

 

methinks shanahan has a lot more control over the direction of the leafs. In NJ, Lou was the only boss.

 

This is the first time in a few years that I can't wait for the playoffs to start. After having to endure what became the Bylsma and Johnston eras, this Penguins team is so damn fun to watch. It's great to have an actual system in place and a coach that actually will match lines. Hoping to snag some tickets to game two.
