Rx Bandits are the greatest ska band of all time

 

Perhaps you are referring to pre progress stuff but from that album on I feel like they barely count. That said they were completely fantastic.

 

My point was kind of that they were the best ska band because they stopped being a ska band haha. But The Resignation and And The Battle Begun still had enough elements to loosely be considered ska though, and those two albums are untouchable

 

No doubt. The Resignation is one of those albums that blew my mind at 15 but still does now without it being nostalgia based at all.

 

Ooh, not sure if this one has been said yet. But Alt-j are booooooring.

 

So I didn't pay any attention all the times 21 Pilots were brought up because I had never heard them. Did a picture slide show for my friend's kid's birthday and asked what songs he wanted, got a answer of 21 Pilots. I downloaded their 5 top songs to use and dear lord, so awful. I can tell why kids like it though I guess.

 

Honestly, I couldn't tell you what 21 Pilots sounds like, and at this point, I don't real think it's necessary to listen to find out.

 

21 Pilots are usually listenable, occasionally good, and rarely (but sometimes) outright awful

i wanted to hate 21 pilots but i saw them at ACL Festival because of a friend I was with, and not gonna lie i was really impressed. the lead guy free climbed the scaffolding and started singing/rapping while around 50 ft in the air. they also brought the drum set into the crowd and everybody ate that up. not much of a fan of the music itself, but after seeing the live show i can understand why kids are so obsessed with them

Those people are foolish.

 

I'm sure jrock's mother is a lovely person but that is unforgivable.

 

It's not just kids who like them unlike what folks here might lead you to believe. I still can't for the life of me see why people hate them. I think they're excellent.
