I miss the good old days when we would all just watch this band self-sabotage their promising young career.

 

Dale is a bigger TDS than I ever was

 

we can likely thank Dale for being a contributing factor in inspiring AJ to get back into it

 

I know that when I think about quitting something, I remind myself not to let Dale down.

 

What do you think the lineup will be this time around? Tyler was posting away about taking it back up and then radio silence for a few weeks now - perhaps they're keeping heads down before a big reveal.

 

I would love to see Bryan back in the band - but I'm not sure what their relationship is anymore. As long as Cody isn't a part of it then I'm in.

 

I once saw a post somewhere from Bryan about "being in a band with two terrible human beings" and i only assume he was talking about Aj and Cody. I also wouldn't be surprised if it just something that's kinda hacked together over email and then released, instead of a full blown reunion.

They seem to have pretty steady lives at this point.

 

i believe Bryan is in the band Dreamcatcher but i'm not too sure

 

bryan is but they're mostly just a local baltimore band that goes on small tours every once in a while

i doubt that's something that would get in the way of TDS stuff if this is really a thing

 

He pretty much quashed any involvement on Facebook recently - unless it was a bluff. Posts from tds today on twitter suggest it is the lineup when the band finished which would be doing this.
I wonder what happened to Tyler crowdfunding new gear and promising videos etc?

I'm fine w/ any lineup as long as it doesn't include Cody (best part, it can't!).

I think it was more a coincidence that Tyler was picking up drumming again. In the same posts where he was putting up clips of him playing TDS beats he was also talking about being opened to tour with anyone. I'm guessing it would be Matt & Ben... but we'll see soon enough. All 3 of them (AJ / Ben / Matt) retweeting the posts from today though are probably somewhat telling

 

And yet nothing since.

Been going back and listening to Golden Record a bit lately. I really enjoy like 75% of that album. There are a few track I don't care for too much. I'm about 50/50 with War Paint, but I am 100% with Reach For The Sun.

spoiler alert: they've been wanting to get back together for awhile but no one (not even dale jr.) has actually said to them, "Hey, can you guys come back please?", so they haven't until now

 

EDIT: My mistake, all this news about them getting back together has gotten me a little excited and at first glance I read the tweet as "A few weeks ago" instead of a "A few years ago"

 

It would be odd that Cody were there, for a start.
