I met Dustin Kensrue once and I wish I could just sit and have a beer with him and talk.

Meeting Geoff Rickly was awesome but a littls awkward. I think it would have been better in a different setting.

I've met Claudio Sanchez, he was super nice and it was a good time. Kenny from the Starting Line was blown when I met him, that was fun.
Anthony Green is by far the coolest person I've met, he was super awesome to talk to. I don't really have any bad stories of meeting someone thankfully

Yeah I went to a campus event and signing with Lupe Fiasco in 2007 and it was pretty awkward when i got up there to get my autograph. What are you supposed to do, compliment their music?

Although I have had good conversations with a couple of band members at shows

I met Pusha T and he was badass in the way only Pusha T can be

Nicest """famous""" person I've met is Mike Shinoda or Patrick Stump. Stump let me talk shit about what I didn't enjoy about FOB and was still cordial as hell.

Britney Spears and Celine Dion were both super kind.

The Starting Line, Yellowcard, Paramore, New Found Glory, Hawthorne Heights, Gaslight Anthem... they were all awesome, but it was very quick hi, autograph, picture stuff. Thanks Warped Tour.

Oh, and Chris Conley. He was really awesome

    EDIT:

    OH YEAH AND NOW, NOW

I took a picture with Cacie and Brad and she told me I smelled good so that was interesting

Oh! Devin from Emery is awesome. He and I watched Anberlin together on one of their co-headliners. A year later, he remembered me on that weird Hawthorne Heights/Relient K/Emery/Plain White T's tour as Relient K was playing and we ended up near each other again. Nintendo Fusion, maybe?

Only people I've met are Pop punk band guys.

Met Jordan from SYG and I'll never forget that he thought my name was Darrell

Whenever I've met artists, I typically thank them for a specific song, or maybe album. I know as a writer, I liked when people said what specifically connected with them, as opposed to the whole thing. Try to give them the same courtesy. Like, "I imagine the emotions of writing this song sucked, but thank you because it's meant the world to me since."

I have heard from quite a few of them (podcasts and interviews, not firsthand) that it makes it awkward when you say stuff like "this song/album saved my life" though.

Though, that's exactly what I told Dustin when I met him oops.

One of the guys from Copeland remembered me and flipped out and hugged me like six times after I showed them a picture of the last time I had met them

    It was awesome

Met Sergio from the early November. He was telling me about his time with UPS after the band initially went on hiatus. He was absolutely hilarious.

Warped Tour... I wanna 08?... I ducked into a tent because it was hot AF and there was a lull in bands I wanted to see and accidentally ended up front row for a GCH acoustic set and I didn't know a single word. That was fun. But then I was front row for Andrew McMahon right after them.

I saw Ace Enders & A Million Different People once (still love that album) and it was weird to me the vast difference b/w Ace and Sergio on stage haha
