That makes sense! I was confused by the FOH. There's me thinking they were going to add a bridge etc. from a track 'FOH' haha.

 

Makes sense. It's usually funny when these things happen at shows. Although I got super annoyed with the balls ADTR threw out last year because they kept whacking me in the head since I was in the front of the pit and was focused on the show not on incoming beach balls behind Me lol

 

Haha yup deluxe. I have both versions of LIEY and Still Searching

 

They threw out blow up dolls at my show.

 

I think Waiting Room and The Fire are weaker coming after Still Searching but there's good songs. Everything is def worth checking out at least. Renacer is way heavier but way awesome IMO. Pull The Thorns is less interesting musically than Renacer but I love Buddy's lyrics on it.

Oh and Still Searching is great. Lyrically a big step up from LIEY. Either that or Renacer are their best depending which sound you prefer.

 

Given your liking of those albums, how do you feel what Buddy said about the sound of the new record coming? I'm excited

 

Idk I liked their new direction. But I'm sure I'll like it. Doesn't put me off of it too much, but I didn't care too much for that Speak The Truth song so that gives me just enough to wonder tiny negative things haha.

 

I wasn't lucky enough to see the Sydney show (I think was their 3rd last show before hitting home in Florida to do the couple last few shows)
Vibe wasn't as emotional as i though was a real party on Ocean Ave, where as anberlin final show me and a few others almost shed up

 

I listen a fair bit of metalcore/post hardcore.
As well as blues & roots and getting into country/pop. And Australian hip hop. And house dance.
I like everything except hectic euro dance and RnB/soul

Oh man me too! Can't wait, everything sucks is one of my all time favorite records.

 

How has Blink been since Tom left the band? They're coming to my city next month and I'm probably going to end up buying a ticket, but I haven't been keeping up. The last thing I heard was the Dogs Eating Dogs EP, which I loved a lot, but I haven't heard the new album and haven't seen/heard anything about their live show since Tom left.

 

They're fantastic with Matt. Definitely at least check out the California album. I'd recommend going to the show too.

Really hoping those spring east coast dates are announced soon!

EDIT: Well, I guess I should say 'potential' east coast dates. Mark mentioned it on twitter during a Q&A, but that's all we have to go off of, for now...

 

Yeah I'm in the same boat with you. There's a big gap where they have like 2 weeks between shows in April and then from May to June when they head to Europe. I wouldn't make sense that they wouldn't hit up the East Coast before then, especially since Travis has to travel to NY I believe to get on the boat to take him overseas.

 

I'm also anxious because I'm heading to Disney with work 5/7-12, and I really hope that isn't when they head to Boston!

 

Technically they are playing South Carolina and Florida in the spring. That might have been all he was referring to.
