From the looks of the preview for next ep, their preparation may get interrupted by Negan showing up at the gates which may be the cliff hanger.

On a side note, Negan told Sasha that he heard Rick was up to no good. I think Gregory left to go meet Simon since he wants Maggie dealt with but can't do it himself. Do you think he told Simon/Negan about the uprising?

One of my biggest issues of this season (aside from most of the boring story lines and terrible character focus choices) is that we've been hearing about Negan and how evil and bad of a character he is for years and we finally get him and it's hard to even hate him (and hard to like him too because of how annoying he delivers every line the same exact way while leaning back).

Like, he doesn't even seem like that bad of a guy. Am I supposed to hate him because he killed Abraham and Glenn? Do you know how many people Rick's group have killed? Rick and his group brutally murdered an entire camp of Negan's people in their sleep without even really knowing the entire extent of the background of The Saviors.

Negan for the most part keeps his group very safe and gives most of his people a fair opportunity to have a nice life and gives incentives to those who work hard and earn their keep.

I think the Governor was a 20x better character than Negan is.

The Governor was maybe a better villain because he was more straight up bad, but I think everything you listed puts Negan in more grey territory than black and white. It's purposely done to make the audience feel that way, which is working and I think that makes it more exciting. At the end of the day though, even though he's not terrible to his own people he is still taking what isn't his from other communities and killing randomly, making them live in fear.

I missed the episode last week but watching this one just made it feel like Ricks group are the bad guys. Holding a bunch of women that keep to themselves hostage so they can take their weapons.

I mean I know the "heroes" need it but it's something that seems like a bad guy move.

It made sense to me. Not all of them were cable of fighting. They have old people and kids. If all their fighters left they would be in a bad spot.

That being said you know they will show up just in time so save someone later.

I have pretty much no expectations whatsoever for the finale.

For some reason I really like Dwight. Glad he's changing sides.

Is Negan more evil in the comics, compared to how he's portrayed on the show? If so, in what ways?

Not really. He swears a lot more which comes off a bit more menacing, but his whole thing is that he's "not a bad guy". He says it numerous times in the show - even just last night when talking to Sasha. You do what he says and nothing happens. He's like that in the comics, but when you get him mad, people die, violently. And with a lot of pretty language.

I like Dwight. Poor guy. I really hope whatever he does in terms of helping Rick and co. will matter.

I like how this episode ended, with Rick giving Dwight the test questions they give to every new person to their group

The entire synopsis for the finale leaked. I'm not reading it but I can send it to whoever wants it. Beware: it's really in-depth and will take a while to read.

How quickly does this show up on AMC.com? I'll be at a B&B Sunday night so not sure if they'll have the channel or not.

Plausibility should not bother me with this show, BUT, Negan/Saviors just letting their be an easy access sniper position right near their base is pretty ridiculous.

No casualties from the Alexandrians after every one of them had a gun to their back?!

Loved the episode despite it's flaws.
