Twenty One Pilots just announced they're playing a hometown show in Columbus at The Basement, which holds around 300 people.

 

There it is! Twenty One Pilots are breaking up! Case closed lol

Matchbox Twenty and Counting Crows summer tour.

 

This is the second or third year that I can remember that Counting Crows have played Chicago during Riot Fest.

if not saves the day, ignoring their UK tour with blink/frank turner, and looking at the term "pop-punk" very loosely, front bottoms fit the bill...unless I'm not hip/knowledgeable enough, none of the bands suggested (neck deep, state champs) are big enough to headline over TWY, except like, Real Friends or TSSF.

 

I know it was Rob solo last year but AGAIN?!?

 

Was pretty dumb MB20 didn't do it last year considering 2016 was the 20th anniversary of YOSLY

 

Would've been awesome to see that album in full (or at least a few deep cuts). I'm guessing someone in the MB20 camp couldn't do it for whatever reason last year. I just hope they go on first so I can leave before CC comes on.

I came to post about this. Also doing the Newport Music Hall the day after, which is about 1,700 and then Express! Live Outdoors which is around 5K I think? Shows are 6/20, 21 and 22.

 

I am so tired of this "which band is breaking up" conversation.

 

At this point I don't think anyone is actually breaking up lol

 

I'm definitely gonna try to do Newport, if not Express Live will also be cool but I definitely want to go to one of them.

I'm not a big enough fan to go to that Basement show haha Wouldn't feel right taking the tickets from someone else

 

I don't know what's worse: no band breaking up and we got our hopes up for nothing or it's a somewhat popular band that isn't bigger than TWY.

 

That's pretty noable of you! I won't try for any of them because I'm just not a fan of them. But I really think that it's cool they are doing something like this. I can't even imagine what the ticket situation will be like for The Basement show with it being a 300 cap room. Hopefully they have some sort of ticket protection procedures planned. They got so big, so fast. I remember when they played the House Of Blues just a few years ago and they sold out the Wolstein last year and could probably come really close at The Q now. Good for them and I hope fans can get a shot at all three of these tickets!
