  1. Who cares? They are a bad team let them have a moment

I don't know, I don't really have a huge problem with the 70 thing. Watson is tasked with trying to entertain people on a tanking team. He is also trying to build confidence in a young core. I don't really know what "disrespecting the game" means because it's evolved so much over time. The dunk used to be a sign of disrespect. The NBA is more of an entertainment platform so it doesn't really bother me. If it was high school or some lower level, I would question the motives at play.

It's just tacky, imo. Makes the 70 feel less impressive because it wasn't authentic. And a head coach should know better. Teach your young core to play the right way. What is fouling guys to stop the clock in a blowout teaching anyone? I mean, he scored 16 in the final 3 min in a blowout. Again, I didn't see it, but the more I hear about it, it sounds less impressive.

Also, the job of a coach is to never entertain.

  5. This is the worst take I've ever seen. Holy shit.

    Yes it was authentic.

WHO SHITS ON A 70 POINT GAME?

  6. "Play the right way" .... lol .... what condescending fucking nonsense.

Padding stats in the final 2 minutes of a blowout loss while your coach is calling plays and fouling to stop the clock is not authentic, nor is it playing the right way.

  8. That's the worst take ever maybe

  9. At least I know Skip Bayless visits my website now.

Holy shit. I just saw a headline saying he scored 70 and I had to check three different sources to believe it.

I think you're mistaking me for someone who's upset about it? I don't care that they did it. But someone asked how he got there, and that's a decent part of how.

  16. lol, DrewB, known for winning "Most Annoying Sports Takes, 2005-2012," says Boston's culture sucks because of instagram comments

  17. Some teams have rapists playing for them, but instagram comments, hell fuckin no

They might need to hire Crowder a social media assistant soon, between this and that night he was arguing with Celtics fans.

  19. He's an emotional guy I think, people were saying he was upset when the Garden was cheering for Booker. Which is understandable in the moment but you should be able to realize eventually that people are going to be excited to see a performance like that, especially when you're blowing them out anyway. And also you should be able to not argue about it on instagram lol. But it is what is I guess.

That's what he was mad about the last time, too. Some fans applauding Hayward. I get that it's that competitive drive that makes him good and that you want it on a winning team, so I don't hold it against him, but it also seems like something the C's should get a handle on, too.

And I think he has to realize, in a closer game, nobody in the Garden is cheering for history. The C's had that one in hand. They even played Gino Time.

The Wizards are favored by 1 1/2 tonight IN Cleveland. My guess is LeBron (and maybe even Love) sit tonight.

EDIT: At one point spread was as high as 3 1/2 WASH today. Twenty minutes after it was announced LBJ was playing, changed to 5 1/2 CLE.
