The rodeo works differently than a normal concert. No encores ever. I think the only person they've ever let do an encore was George Straight.

 

I am learning so much about rodeos today lol

 

Less then a week to go until Misery.

 

Used to live in Houston. We all went to the rodeo for the music, food and carnival. Now i live in Idaho and people go to the rodeo for the actual rodeo part.

 

I never even knew they were such a big thing

 

Its once a year in Houston and lasts like a whole month. Its mostly country musicians, one Hispanic musician (Pit-bull usually) and a few pop acts (Maroon 5, Blink, Lady Gaga, etc...). The cook off starts the weekend before the rodeo and everyone goes for the amazing food and beer. Then its just a month of cowboy hats, boots, fried food and good music. I miss Texas.

Listening to Dude Ranch a lot in the past week. Still really love this album

Love it, and such classy responses to. Not bad for 'someone just doing his job for him' but no kidding aside awesome class Skiba.

 

I think while it's easy to bust on Tom for not looking like he wants to be there and having issues playing live, his guitar playing is pretty iconic for the genre and he has written very memorable guitar riffs.

 

My friend who says he's completely unfamiliar with Blink wanted me to condense their entire discography into a 1 hour playlist for him (says he already knows ATST, WMAA, Rock Show, and I Miss You)

Such a hard task to do....like there's other stuff I'd want to add to this list but you have the 1 hour limit and nothing is really want to take off.

That really deterred me from seeing them again prior to Skiba's involvement. Didn't want to spend money on an arena show just to watch tom struggle through songs he's played for years. Skiba brings a lot of life back into songs like Always and I Miss You

 

M&M's, Josie, Waggy, Dumpweed, Violence, and/or She's Out of Her Mind are songs I'd probably try include or try to sneak in there but with only an hour's time it will be hard.

Yeah seriously how great would it have been to have someone like a manager or lawyer email your junior high or high school girlfriend telling her: (Insert your name here). Is. Out.

 

I would def have that for 10% of my pocket money!
