I'm late to the party on this, but I wanted to complete it because I wasn't sure how I'd rank cities/towns. I'm not really happy with how it turned out, but it's good enough.

    1. Phoenix, AZ
    2. Mt. Desert Island, ME (not a city, but small enough)
    3. Boulder, CO
    4. Naples, FL
    5. Baltimore, MD

Honorable mentions: Washington, D.C.; Newport, RI; Savannah, GA; Las Vegas, NV; Jackson, WY; Vancouver, BC (close enough).

Turkey sandwich with lacey Swiss cheese, horseradish mayo, on rye & pumpernickel swirl bread. Cape Cod Chips. Baby carrots.

  4. Disagreed pretty hard, LITSOS and Disambiguation sound nothing like Define The Great Line. They went into some interesting territories, like post metal, sludge, post rock, Deftones influenced alt metal on their latter stuff. Disambiguation isn't even metalcore outside of a few songs. I love DTGL but it already sounds dated with its dissonant chords and things like that. Not to mention it's also their most repetitive record.

Last time I went to a double feature was The Other Guys, which was OKAY and then The Expendables, which was NOT OKAY.

I just remember listening to LITSOS and even went with a friend to a concert in support of the album and being like "they're doing alot of the same stuff over and over." I wont comment on the other album because I cant remember a whole lot anymore. My comment stems from that I felt like there was another album in between there to me for some reason maybe because it felt exhaustive to me by that point. But yeah I remember LITSOS having a couple tracks that were different to break up the pace a bit. Their take on some atmospheric metal. I wasn't moved a whole lot by that either unfortunately. They didn't play them live back then either curiously when I went.

i got to see them do it live with scogin twice, once original line-up (pre-CNS) and once new line-up (post-CNS). the place was absolutely absurd when he ran out and dove into the crowd screaming "REGRET"

CNS was what got me in to them so it's my favorite but I'm a big fan of the other two as well

they all handle faith in such a real, honest, questioning way that i really connect with.

  21. When did you see them ? It bothers me that they still haven't started playing their latter stuff with Aaron. It could be really interesting if Spencer and Aaron traded clean vocals for Disambiguation's songs, even if it is only for harmonies. Yeah, LITSOS has some songs that sound like bsides from Define The Great Line, especially Desperate Measures. One thing that still irks me on that record is Spencer's performance. His screams were unbelievable on Define The Great Line, pretty varied and aggressive, then he decided (or was forced to ?) to only uses growls for the rest of their career.
