This is one of the few bands I don't mind if they continue on without ever releasing a new album. It's like if TBS stopped at Louder Now, Blink 182 stopped at Self-Titled, Anberlin at Cities, Underoath at Define The Great Line etc

    Maybe so, maybe not.

The name is from a restaurant on Long Island (Wantagh) that has since closed.

And while we are on the topic, here's my "Fork and Knife" tattoo on my inner arm. In descending age order, the handwriting of my family: hold (dad), on to (mom), who (brother 1), you (brother 2), love (my own).

Do you think the lyrics address members of another band?

And like Underoath released their two best albums after Define.

Still hoping for them to just dump like 30 songs in 2018 on the internet and say "here, take it you heathens"

I wonder why they went with Wantagh because I don't think any of the members are actually from Wantagh, are they? Pretty sure Jesse was Levittown....but everything is close up there anyway.

My g/f is from Long Island, her older cousins were old enough to have seen Brand New and TBS play at some local bars/house parties apparently lol

General consensus, to my knowledge, is that the band is from Merrick and Levittown. But yeah, Wantagh is right there too.

Vinnie actually lives two blocks away from me in Long Beach. See him around here and there.

I can agree with TBS, because everything they released post Louder Now (and actually, half of Louder Now) is dogshit. Once Brand New releases a bad album I can get behind that. I doubt it'll happen, but still.

Once brand new releases a bad album? Bud, let me introduce you to half their discography

Daisy isn't bad, and your favorite weapon is a great fun pop punk record

YFW is the only eh album. Daisy hate is lame

I first listened to Devil in 2008, near 2009 and that was my first introduction to the band. Then I tried out YFW and I was so confused.

I could live to be 100 and I still won't be able to make sense of the Daisy vitriol.

I like the song Daisy, but that's the only song on that album that I liked. I know this site is Daisy heavy, and brand new heavy, but I think general music fans aren't huge on Daisy...But there was love for Devil and Deja all around.

I'll add, the same people that think New Again is TBS best album probably really like Daisy as well.

I LOVE Daisy, but I don't think I've ever been able to make it all the way through New Again

^ Buddha is blinks best album.

All seriousness. Devil is leaps above Daisy. Sowing Season alone is better than anything on the album. Then when we add Not The Sun, Limo, Archer, You Won't Know, and basically every other song on the album, you have a magnum opus

New Again still sucks, and Daisy is still the second best BN album

Daisy is like they got into a studio, pressed record, just started rocking out and basically freestyled the whole album.

  23. Drewski

New Again follows the post-Where You Want to Be TBS formula to an absolute T...a select handful of great songs, while most of it is the most forgettable shit you've ever heard.
