Discovered that Lights & Motion have a new album out, so downloading that. Forgot I listened to Andrew McMahon's really boring new one. I wouldn't mind checking out Drake, Big Sean, and Future... but I'm kinda burnt out on all of them right now. Nothing else really looked that appealing to me. Maybe check out Ryan Adams. Minus The Bear hasn't been good in awhile, so no real desire to listen to them, either.

My teenage sister lives Ed Sheeran apparently. I only know the Marvin Gaye ripoff song and that was decent before it was everywhere. Didn't care for the stuff he played on SNL. I do like Live Yourself which I guess he wrote or cowrote

Crucify me but: When we saw The Menzingers with Jeff Rosenstock they did not catch my interest at all

Jeff was amazing and The Menzingers were just like "Oh cool this is a rock band"

 

I'm sure it would've been different if I heard them on CD before seeing them but eh idk

I wish I liked them because I feel excluded from something everyone else enjoys

 

their new album really converted me. didn't really understand the hype until this one. it's my aoty so far.

 

Which isn't a compliment lol, both are whiny " nice guys"

 

wasn't meant as one, but i still enjoy their music for what it is. i tend to not have as much difficulty separating art and artist as a lot of people seem to, unless they're really heinous. idk.
