Shows at the Ryman, especially ones as big as the Isbell shows, usually sale out in less than 15 minutes. I was lucky enough to snag a couple for Sunday night!

  2. Even at the Ryman I wouldn't think he's big enough to sell 12,000 tickets in a matter of minutes though. The Cincy date I'm going to is still half empty for example and it's been on sale for over a month I believe. Guess Nashville is a different story!

Yeah he has played multiple nights in October every year for the past 3 years at the Ryman and each time all shows have sold out within minutes of going on sale. Same thing happens when Sturgill or Stapleton announce shows there. If you aren't trying to buy them the second they go on sale then you aren't getting them. It's insane.

Hey thanks but it's cool, we're alright. The real killer is all those albums but I've already started replacing some. I'll try and wait until this show to see what of his I can get there. I had a pretty sick copy of Southeastern that was 180g and in like a cardboard cover with just the title like spray painted on it that I got at one of his NJ shows a few years ago.

God, I can imagine. How many records? The shitty thing with vinyl is that some of that stuff is just not possible to replace.

I'm still trying to catalog what I had but about 250 plus a small amount of singles and 10"s. Yeah the ones that hurt are like Fallon's "Georgia" and "Can't Love, Can't Hurt" by Augustana.

Oh man, losing that Augustana record is a heartbreaker. I hope they repress that someday.

The best augustana record. I remember being so dissapointed when they didn't continue that sound. Still loving Dan Layus' solo record.

    Pre-order is up now.

That test pressing is enticing, especially because it says it will not come with album art. But I'll probably go for the regular LP.

    Looks like a single LP?

I've gotta at least hear a single before I can pre-order. Really surprised we don't have one yet.

  12. I want a single super bad

Fair. I'll get one eventually I think, but I'm not as special as Steven Hyden so I probably have to wait a month or two.

  23. I love this. Really cool guitar work, and I love the lyrics in the second verse.

  24. Now THAT'S a single. Solid little tune, reminds me a lot of Gold-era Ryan Adams.

"Last year was a son of a bitch for nearly everyone we know" has to be the most apt line written about 2016 yet.
