I'm thinking of doing Lost: Season One - Camp Cope if I can't snag a Julien Baker song, or maybe both.

Since people listen to stuff from the comps every single day, it'd be kinda hard to look at past stats without them being a little inaccurate, but if there's a few that you're interested in, let me know and I will shoot you a PM with stats.

I was just going to suggest we did the no boys allowed. It was getting mentioned by most people so I assume it would be the winner.

 

all the info you should need is on the first post in here. but if you have any other questions, definitely feel free to ask. but basically, once a new compilation is announced, you can call out a song (as long as no one else has called it). when you're done recording your songs, you send it to [email protected] by the due date (which will be part of the announcement).

 

Once a comp and its deadline are announced you call what song you want to do for it in this thread. It's first come first serve. There are no other rules other than to submit it by the deadline and pick a song within the rules of the comp.

 

Putting it out there now that if any female members want to collab on a track I'd be happy to provide instrumentals! I know I can't pull off a lot of the vocals.

So since it's obvious what's gonna win in that poll, I'm just gonna come out and claim The Way I Am by Ingrid Michaelson.

Thank you all for your kind words and seriously great job on this comp everyone, I agree with others that it's produced the best of most people's work and made for one of the best comps so far!

 

Ironically I recorded my wannabe cover the same day as 405

 

For April, I'm doing Mitski's "Francis Forever" and "Your Best American Girl" and maybe also "I Don't Smoke" and/or "Class of 2013," but what I end up submitting depends on whether my friends, who will be doing the vocals, will be okay with it. So, if anyone else is doing Mitski, don't do those songs, hah.

 

I really wanted to do Your Best American Girl, but after several attempts I couldn't figure out how to make my voice work for it, so I went with Ingrid instead.
