Anyone looking to do a money league or have a spot open in a money league? It's my favorite sport and my favorite fantasy game and all of my leagues have fallen through. I don't have enough friends who like baseball to start one.

 

We're still a month away and the Mariners are already tearing me apart inside.

This will be my first season in 10 years that I haven't done Fantasy Baseball, and the only reason I did it for the past few seasons was because one of my leagues was a Keeper league and I had insane keepers so it was easy money but to be honest, fantasy baseball just doesn't do it for me. The two leagues I was in had like one or two bench spots so my line-ups were normally untouched for most of the season. There wasn't really a lot of thinking or strategy involved as there is in Fantasy Football where you have 6 or 7 bench spots and play match-ups more often - and you have 3 to 4 days to think about things.

Also, baseball is such a long season that it's often hard to judge a player. Like, all-star players will have 2-3 week slumps, or mediocre players may play out of their mind for a month and a lot of managers tend to overreact and not see the bigger picture.

I'm sorry, Javier Baez seems fun and all but I'm quickly getting sick of seeing him every 5 minutes

Edit: part of the problem is MLB trying extra hard to be hip in pushing him. Their social media presence makes me cringe
