Now that I've caught up, I'm so exhausted and ready to take a nap already. Four hours of sleep. No food yet. Just a shake. So done.

My thought is "if it works it works, if it doesn't it doesn't".

Like, obviously people don't recommend it, but I remember when I was looking for work Laura had recommended I go to a job fair her work (at the time) was doing. If I didn't happen to kill it at the interview I had 2 days prior for my current job, I likely would've interviewed there instead and gotten that job instead. This was a while before we were ever dating, so when I think about it, would I have not dated her or fallen in love with her had I accepted that job? How much would really be that different? Only thing I can think is we'd be less happy because we'd likely have stayed at a job neither of us would've enjoyed but as far as our relationship goes, I don't think I'd magically not love her because of working at the same job as her. So who knows what could result from dating in the workplace? I think as long as the risks are understood and it feels worth it, it's worth pursuing.

 

I met my wife at work if that means anything. As in we worked together
