I'm actually posting between takes of the Han Solo movie

 

Saw it tonight, so well done, theatre was cheering by the end. Great film, hope Peele can do a lot more.

 

I watched it a 2nd time and almost laughed out loud when Chris is being given the tour and Dean tells him something like, "We like to keep a piece of my mom in this kitchen," with Georgina standing right there.

watched this on saturday by myself and i talked a friend into going to see it with me again tonight.

 

Noticed that my second viewing too, so awesome.

It was at a charity function at a Trump building a year or two ago.

 

Just walked out of the theater not too long ago.

All I can really say right now is that get out was the most stressful, affecting, and intense, movie I've ever seen in a theater

 

Like holy shit. I need to gather my thoughts a bit. My heart is still racing and it's been like 25 minutes.

 

Really, really wanted the last line of the movie to be, "Yo, give me a cigarette."

Yes. I wanted to smoke a cig so bad for the dude

 

I smoked two on the ten minute drive home from the theatre.

 

Anyone know of any music similar to the theme? I know he used Swahili musicians but I don't really know what to look for

 

Just saw this. Soooo good. Legitimately creepy as hell, I don't know how all of the people are saying it wasn't that scary lol

 

Finally saw this today and it totally met the expectations and success its had. This is on par (or even better) than last year's Green Room. The only problem was that there was a technical issue at my theater where the projector had a more bluish hue to the color so that sort of distracted me at first but by the midway point I wasn't noticing it. Might have to see this again just to catch all the little clues.

Afterwards I definitely saw it more as a suspense thriller but as someone mentioned earlier, that may be because of my perception as a white guy. But there were tons of great scares even if they were brief. Plus the concept of being in a sunken place has been in my nightmares from time to time.

 

Ugh, I eat my cereal just like her and my first thought was "shit, there goes breakfast Tomorrow."
