FUCKIN SAVAGES IN THAT FUCKIN BOX Prestigious

Just based on pure lyrics, +44 has my favorite that Mark has written. Song-wise as a whole Dude Ranch will always be my favorite Mark album.

"Fighting The Gravity" is a career highlight, imo.

If I were to make them rewrite or erase 2 songs, these would probably be my choices...

    Parking Lot (erase, because I think it's a mess and it's my least favorite regular post-Dude Ranch blink song);
No Future (rewrite, because it had potential to be so much better).

Fighting the Gravity has always felt uninspired to me. Would've been a b-side on +44.

Fighting the Gravity is maybe the one time since the reunion that blink-182 has tried something sonically interesting beyond a pop punk formula or the DeLonge influenced attempts at stadium rock. I'm always down with blink doing something outside of their usual formula (Fallen Interlude/All of This/I Miss You) so while it might be in my bottom half of blink songs, there's so much going on instrumentally and with Travis' percussion patterns that I enjoy listening to it. The noise and lyrics definitely capture the claustrophobia of a bad trip. Like most songs on Neighborhoods, with an added dimension it could have maybe been something really strong.

I can agree with that last part about Neighborhoods, FTG in particular

    I am a haunted house. I'm superstitious.

Yes and Yes. I really wish I could hear something similar to this in at least one of the new songs from the Deluxe version.

You know, after the deluxe addition is released, I really hope they put Hey I'm Sorry on the setlist. Replace songs like Down, Always, and Violence with it. That or at least add Left Alone on there too.

Eh, I don't know that Fighting the Gravity should even count. It was essentially a bonus track.

Erase 2 songs, it's easily This Is Home and Give Me One Good Reason. Love Is Dangerous is almost my second choice but Mark's parts in the chorus give it juuuust enough of an edge to save it.

It's got its moments for sure. I love Up all night, After Midnight, Natives, Hearts all Gone, Even if She Falls, and Ghost a whole heck of a lot. I still play it from time to time, actually went back and relistened to it last week. It's not perfect but it's got some high points

I know it needs improvement, but I like This is Home. Kinda wish they would've played more of those songs live. I wonder if any that didn't hook me on the studio version would click live. Hoping for good or ill they promote and play quite a few new songs for Deluxe promotion.

Honestly I don't like 4 songs on Neighborhoods and I think the rest are great, with some being career highlights

The album came out on my 15th birthday though and it's the one I'm most nostalgic for

I can dig that. Love when someone connects to an album or song like that. Hey that's a good discussion topic. Most nostalgic album for you? For me I have to say Untitled, I was late to not only the Blink game but the rock genre as a whole. When Untitled dropped I connected to every song and not only went through buying blinks backlog but other related bands of the genre and similar genres. TBS, MCR, AK3, NoFX, Brand New, NFG and loads more. Untitled opened so many doors for me.

Oh man, most nostalgic. That's tough. It's a tie between Dude Ranch and TOYPAJ. My mom bought me dude ranch on my last day of 5th grade in 1998 bc she liked the song Dammit. Then went with my friends to see Can't Hardly Wait in theatres and dammit played in that movie. CHANGED MY LIFE FOREVER.

TOYPAJ came out the summer going into my senior year of High School and that album was the soundtrack of that time period for me. So many memories. Making out with my senior crush with the album on, going to the bowling alley and the DJ playing the album front to back during laser light hour, summers at the beach with my friends, skimboarding, playing volleyball, and hanging out at bonfires. Love that album.

    I'm old.

Untitled is strange for me because it's obviously nostalgic but at the same time it's probably the least nostalgic of their records since I can play it at anytime and it'll feel relevant
