Someone tell me why the hell I keep getting push notifications from Facebook that x person posted a photo, y person commented on his link, etc, and how do I stop it

the one day i try to get to work early I forget my badge and which ended up adding 20 minutes to my commute....

and the girl i'm talking to is interested in another guy (who doesn't vocally reciprocate to her, but like, he totally does)

so basically it's 8 AM and already a shitty day
