Thank you very much for allowing some self-promotion! We are The Black Light, based in Swindon/Southampton in the UK. We recently self-released our debut album on 01/01/17 & it is now available via bandcamp/itunes/spotify/etc.
Our music can probably be classed as progressive rock, but it also has a pop/mainstream streak running through it. Our influences are bands like Mew, Oceansize, Radiohead, The Smashing Pumpkins, etc, so fans of those bands may like to check us out.

Counter/Balance and Newbrighton from Seattle,WA just released a new split on bandcamp and tape. check it out if you like Touche Amore, Balance and Composure, Brand New, MeWithoutYou. They are going on a tour in support of that release this month.

 

Does anyone have some sites they've submitted music to before for promotion or review? Or is that something you pretty much need some connect for?

Independently shot and recorded on a pretty low budget which means nothing considering the end results.

I play in a band from Los Angeles/Santa Clarita, California called The Deadly Rhythm. We play a combination of styles that comes out sounding like progressive punk rock or some shit. Many different vibes, but it's loud groovy passionate punk that's left of the norm.
