So the final Witcher book was finally translated to English today.

 

Any of you who have Twitter can follow Major Nelson and every Sunday night he posts the XBL weekly sale. There are other sales along with the Ubisoft Publisher Sale.

 

I quite liked Colin and followed his career quite extensively. Fantastic writer and journalist who has always been outspoken and very opinionated, especially within the political spectrum. Whilst I don't agree and share in the majority of those political sentiments, I have always respected his knowledge and passion for the video game industry and that's where a lot of my appreciation for him resides.

 

I don't think it can be understated how god-awful the PS Store is and how it continues to be an embarrassment into 2017.

in what way? the ps store is one of the main reasons i love my vita. dont have a ps4 though

 

It's so much easier to search on the Xbox store. On ps store I have to search letter by letter...

 

PS store has a lot of slowdown issues too, searching is a pain, and it's just a bad interface

 

Searching is horrible, the lack of indie games is laughable, prices when not on sale are a complete joke

I agree that Xbox has PS beat by a long shot in regards to indie games.

 

Am I missing something regarding Indie Games? Most come to both consoles, also I can think of quite a few more indie titles for PS4 than X1.

Then again it may be my definition of indie

Question for y'all. Im about to graduate from medical school but I have a 2.5 month gap coming up. Need some games to play. Naturally I haven't played 99% of games from the last 3-4 years. Favorite games include:
Red Dead
Splinter Cell
Dead Space
Bioshock
Dishonored
The Last of Us
GTA V

Will be using my roommate's xbone, what games should I buy???

Sunset Overdrive

 

There are literally 5 indie games that come out every week on Xbox alone so if you aren't looking for them you won't know they are there and then it's it a matter of what you want play.

 

Congratulations on finishing up medical school! Enjoy those 2 1/2 months off because life as you know it is over once you start residency! "AAA indie"?! I get what you are saying but it just sounds funny that way. Although, I think those titles aren't exclusives and come out for both (most of the time).

 

Every single time this generation I have tried to make a purchase I have an issue. Literally every time. Trying to preorder Full Throttle last night and it shits the bed on me. I don't fucking get how something so easy is always a pain in the ass.

yeah I appreciated the balance of him and greg on PSILYXOXO. certainly any podcast i listen to there are times i get annoyed or disagree with opinions, but that's okay. interested to see where their gaming content goes. I'd like to see Greg Miller do an Up at Noon style show with Kinda Funny, but about games, and bring on guests from the industry, do some long form interviews.

 

does anyone have any video game podcasts to recommend? I'm looking for decent audio quality, not super amateur sounding, funny, but if possible, some good in depth discussion of games as well.
