Blink has put out about 37 songs sonce they originally broke up in 2005. Brand New have put out 2 albums in the same span haha

 

Saw 4 new pages and thought the song leaked.

I love California, but I hope Skiba injects a bit more of his darker style into these new songs.

If they don't play "My Pet Sally" and that instrumental song from their rehearsals in 2004, I'm demanding a refund

 

I don't think I've ever heard the instrumental song from 04.. is there a video or audio of it?

 

Would be cool if they threw Pathetic in there.

With the deluxe coming out + wanting to play some older songs, they really need to either play longer sets or cut some old hits (which won't happen)

 

Yeah I think it's a bit weird/aggravating that one of the biggest punk bands, and bands in general deliberately makes setlists to please the casual fans. Reminds me of phone companies who always offer deals to new customers but don't give long time customers the same or better perks. Like I wish they had the attitude like "we're fucking blink and we'll play whatever the hell we want, and you'll have a good time no matter what". I'm seeing them on the 22nd with a friend and his gf (their first time,my 6th) and they were like "I hope they only play the songs I know" and I'm just tired of them playing the same setlist with little to no change. NFG does it right by always promoting their latest albums while having awesome throwbacks sprinkled with singles. But yeah I agree with making the setlists longer for sure if they want to keep all the singles

 

I wouldn't be mad if they cut songs like "First Date"...unless they play this version. This will never get old.

Some kind of announcement would be nice atleast. Unless they want the release to be a surprise, which in that case has failed as a strategy.

 

It'd be cool if they even just tweeted something along the lines of like "Hey, new music this week!" I'd be ok with that.
