Im still bummed about Fowler tearing his ACL so early. Hopefully he can get better because last year he looked athletic but his play wasn't up to par for pick 3

Yeah, I actually saw someone from the Eagles talking to Sid as he was being carted off.

 

I was thinking today about the Eagles WR situation and I can't help but wonder if John Ross is still in play at 14 despite the moves they made at WR.

Torrey Smith's deal is cheap but even still, there is only 500K in guaranteed money....so they can ditch him whenever for nothing.

Alshon is a one year deal and if he comes in and plays like he can, he will get a hefty payday next year from the Eagles, I assume.

While that trade package for Cooks that PFT reported has to be horseshit, I don't doubt for a second they were aggressive in trying to add him, I think they want to add a speed guy similar to that. Is that Torrey Smith? Maybe.

Jordan Matthews is a UFA next year and I am not sure they are resigning him (certainly won't if they hand out a top tier deal to Alshon). Agholor? Who knows with him. DGB will probably not even make the team this year.

They still need more there....long term.

In regards to Ross's Pro Day tweets from that dude, I had read that the QB throwing to him was throwing a bunch of garbage to him.

I'll admit I haven't watched Peppers enough to have a good opinion of him either way. Doesn't he project to be more of an in the box type safety or can he play FS/nickel safety?

 

He could be but I don't think he'd reach his full potential there. If the Cardinals couldn't use 10/11 offensive positions, I'd say they should take Peppers.

I still have a feeling the steelers are gonna take jarrad Davis or Hassan reddick in the 1st unless someone great falls. Not sure lb is deep enough to wait till the next round unless there's a gem they're really into.

 

theres no way Reddick makes it to the Steelers pick IMO
