Lesnar used to be able to wrestle, I'd love to see him do anything besides suplex/F5/Kimura

Finally caught the Hardys/Bucks of Youth/ RPG vice match from friday. What a fucking fun match. That whole show was great. Check it out guys and gals.

 

Trent pulling all of the tacks out of his body hurt me.

 

I watched the Rumble 2015 match with him...and even there, in one of his highest rated matches, he's got like 4 moves. He's got a standard suplex, release German, this weird throwing release german where Cena/Rollins slide into the rope across the ring, and he does a kimura once.

But even then, the formula is the same. Brock dominates. Others have to team up and put him through a table (happens again at Fastlane 2016 with Dean/Roman). Eventually, he magically returns. In other matches, he'll do those running knees too.

But of every match I've watched of him in 2015/16, only the Orton match (sort of) and the Taker matches break the obvious mold. Havent watched Cena/Lesnar at SS '14, but my guess is it goes that far back. Basically 2.5 years of the same old shit; in a way, its amazing it took almost 2 years to wear thin

 

the lesnar match is exactly how KO's fastlane match should've gone.

at least let him get some offense in.

 

lol that match is exactly where the suplex city bullshit started. It's literally 16 german suplexes (not an exaggeration) followed by a pin.

lesnar's actual best showcase might be his first match back with cena at extreme rules

 

It was just funny watching the RR match, and knowing a year later they'd use that same formula at Fastlane. Though, actually Cena got ragdolled way more than Roman did in his match, which is interesting.

 

Pete Dunne has been implying that he might join up with Trip's stable.

 

I'd mark the fuck out if he shows up on live WWE TV soon. As much as I love PROGRESS and British Strong Style, dude has honed his character so much over the past year he deserves it.

 

im going to the 2nd smackdown after WM so hopefully there will be some fun surprise for that

 

Helps that the guy is a heat magnet. They need more guys like that. Hopefully KO doesn't come off too tainted and can get back to it.

Lio Rush is a fucking stud. Seen him wrestle 6 or seven times now and he's gotten better every time. Need to watch that match.

 

Id actually like to see it go across brands. HHH becomes heel-ish within the NXT universe and Dunne is facing off against Regal as face commissioner.

 

Interesting thought, on how bad RAW has been overall (and a little bad luck injury wise). And how screwed they may be going forward. These are their top 10 male draft picks:

Rollins, Balor, Reigns, Lesnar, New Day, Sami Zayn, Chris Jericho, Rusev, Kevin Owens, Enzo/Cass.

6 of those 10 aren't currently guaranteed a WM match, though presumably Rusev/Zayn are battle royal, and E/C may be in a tag title match. And going forward, Reigns and lesnar's opponents probably disappear, killing off any ongoing feuds. Just bad all around heading into WM

 

Rusev is likely out for shoulder surgery and Meltzer said now that Rollins is back, Zayn's push is dead in the water.

 

Dunne, Joe, KO (if they can continue the massive heat he's been getting in this Jericho feud) would be a hell of a group.

 

It gets even crazier if you look at the back half of the RAW draft. After Braun Strowman, the next most legit RAW person is probably Alicia Fox...

They are gonna have to do trades simply because RAW has nobody left to turn to

 

Smackdown looks great compared to Raw when you look at the top 10's.

Ambrose - Likely defending IC title
Styles - Probably Shane
Cena - Miz/Maryse
Orton - Fighting for WWE title
Wyatt - Defending WWE title
Becky - Fighting for Women's title
Miz/Maryse- John Cena/Nikki Bella
Corbin - Likely fighting Ambrose
Alpha - Preshow bound
Ziggler - Battle Royal

 

Like, I know these are taped in advance and that spoilers are all over for PWG events, but in a video titled "preview," what are they thinking by giving away the main event finish and the post-match shenanigans?

 

Even better when you consider the bottom half, where they have 2 of their womens champions (Bliss/Naomi), Heath as a FA champion, and what was a championship contender in Hype Bros had Ryder not gotten hurt.

Its just hilarious to me that Mojo and Hawkins get more tv time than Bo/Axel/Golden Truth/etc, and they are on the 2hr show

 

One thing I've always wondered about. I think they expect a lot of folks to pick up the DVD's for the wrestling, not so much for the story. It's pretty odd though.

 

trades? if they plan on doing another draft in the summer like they did last year im sure they can just coast with what they have now until then. i mean raw has been coasting the last 5 months.

 

Id actually like them to do a PPV (maybe the July "Battleground" one) where they just have cross-brand matches to determine draft picks
