The It Works! stuff is the worst when it comes to my FB feed.

 

Totally forgot they existed. I remember liking one of their albums at one point, don't think I even have it on my laptop anymore.

 

It's Blitz! is crazy good. I never liked much of their stuff until I heard that album.

 

I think Show Your Bones was the one I liked, 'cause my brother and now sister-in-law liked it a lot. Forget if I ever listened to that one. Looks like it came out the first year I was on AP.net, so probably? Hm. Maybe I'll give it a spin at some point today.

 

Is it Arbonne???? I have so much beef with that company. This girl who used to be one of my closest friends got sucked up into their world and now she's a shell of her former self.

 

Ugh yes. I have too many friends who are caught up in it, acting like selling for these companies is some sort of brave thing to do. Like "congrats to Becca for starting her business!!" No. She just got recruited for a fucking pyramid scheme, she's not an entrepreneur.

 

I love it when I'm listening to Morning Edition and they play Tycho in between the stories.

I wish I could just call these people out. Part of me doesn't want to hate on them because they are doing some sort of work and bringing money to their family. But the way they act it's like a shady business man trying to raise funds for a new company and overly exaggerating the success of what they are doing so more people invest.

 

I hope I get an everything bagel tomorrow. That's all I really want for my birthday.

 

I don't like onions, so I always avoided everything bagels. I was so wrong not to. Sooo good.

 

I remember my cousin got into one of those MLMs. The whole fam was rolling their eyes and my sister in law was telling my brother, who feels the need to micro manage everyone, "talk some senses into him!"

He was all like, "no he has to learn for himself!"

 

This one is Rodan+Fields. I've already had conversations with people I know doing Plexus, It Works, and Advocare. Never heard of Arbonne, actually. But good to know looking out.

 

I remember my ex was getting into some kinda health fitness MLM. I went with her to one of those (cause I was not over her) meetings and it felt so awkward. It was like I was in a prayer meeting, cause I didn't buy any of it and they were pretty much giving testimonies. They took pictures and I actively looked away from the camera. There was a dog there so that was fun.

 

Rodan+Fields are the bane of my existence.

They act like the doctors selling proactive means they truly believe in what they are doing. No it means they love lots and lots of money.

 

I have My Way by Limp Bizkit stuck in my head

 

And some famous person's trophy housewife getting into validates it. Yo, she is getting paid to get into to make you think this is the real deal. She made a business deal to hold a party probably and do some promo photos.

Was the new Metric any good? I'm finally softening up to Synthetica after not liking it at all.

 

Writing an essay about the Dave Grohl documentary, Sound City, for music appreciation class in college. The professor knows I write album reviews, so he is excited to see what I come up with.

 

That was a really good documentary in my opinion. As annoying as Dave Grohl can be he really cares about music history and making sure it's not forgotten.

 

I'm really not looking forward to writing papers again. Bleh.

When I was writing the last proposal I wrote..I was reminded how much I hate writing now. It is 0 fun anymore.
