My friend has been to warped the last 4 years and he said he didn't think it has ever happened. Always a first time for everything though lol

 

Also what's the odds of hands like houses being on this year? They used one of their songs for one of the date videos recently and also a song from after the burial in a different date video so do we think both of them could be on

I don't know why people are shocked when Ben or Neck Deep do shitty things. It's been a constant stream of problematic things for close to two years.

 

Both Falling In Reverse and Issues have some poppy elements. FIR's fanbase isn't exactly big hardcore dudes. Neither band is as heavy as Wage War or Atreyu or Motionless In White.

 

August Burns Red always plays main, and they don't have any poppy elements

 

But they didn't play last year. Last year was the first year Lyman did the Monster Energy Party Zone. It was put together with fans of heavier music in mind. It was one of the changes he made last year.

T.S.O.L. was added to Coachella. It doesn't affect the Warped radius clause, but still pretty crazy and impressive to see them on that festival.

 

Well I can confirm that Pears won't be on Warped, talked to those guys tonight...

 

What about The Offspring? Not seen them mentioned much here..

 

Pretty sure they will be doing a summer tour with Sublime with Rome.

If they are sticking to the same format as last year (which according to Lyman in that tweet a few pages back they are) then I can only assume the heavy bands won't be on main. Think about bands like Atreyu and BFMV that in years past would have been main without a doubt, yet played Monster last year.

 

Exactly! Thank you! Bands like Memphis May Fire, Attila, and Blessthefall will end up on the Monster stages again unless Lyman switches it up again.

 

I would expect Black Veil Brides to be on a main stage though.

 

I think they have enough of that "poppy" element and the right fan base to be there.

 

I agree. People don't hate mosh to Black Veil Brides. They have a younger crowd with a lot of younger girls.

 

I'm hitting up that Carnifex tour tomorrow and I'll see if I can find out anything or interpret comments Scott says to the crowd.

 

I think this will be the first year in awhile I don't make the trek to two dates. Doesn't seem like there will be much going on but I will still go to my date

I thought of another small band that could either play monster or at very least full sail like silent planet did last year. Out came the wolves. They were the opening act for the color morale, hands like houses and our last night this last year and they currently have no tour dates announced as of yet as far as I know
