Just glad it's not at Mardi Gras world it was wayyyyyyy to crammy and small for warped tour. The stages were literally like feet from each other

By feet tho I mean the room for people to stand was incredibly small especially by the monster stages

H09909 is playing a show at Beat Kitchen in Chicago. I haven't heard much from them since they got announced (and then dropped) for Warped a few years ago.

They were too punk for Warped.

The only thing I ever saw H09909 do after they didn't play Warped was play the Gathering of the Juggalos one year. After that, I can't think of anything else?

From Ashes To New confirmed they're not doing warped this year, however they are still open to it in the future

Pierce the Veil just confirmed a Canadian festival July 6-16. Not sure what date they play the festival but I guess that rules them out this year.

And they'll be overseas with Good Charlotte before that too. Maybe the second half of the tour?

What bands are most likely to headline this year other than Black Veil Brides? All the predicted lineup lists have mostly smaller bands that aren't quite big enough to headline.

Neck Deep, New Years Day, Memphis May Fire, Attila, blessthefall

Do we know Attila would headline if they were on the tour? Motionless in white was a headliner a few years back but was moved to monster stage on 2016 could the same happen to Attila?

Also could I prevail be on main stage? They have gained a huge following in a short amount of time and I believe they may make main stage instead of monster (assuming they are on)

I know many people in here take social issues seriously in the music scene. Ben Barlow (Vocalist for Neck Deep) is getting heat on twitter for comments he made about international womens day. He deleted some of them but screenshots are kept up in the comments. Take it as you will.

I think Attila's big enough to justify going back to Main again, where Motionless in White kind of took the Monster offer last year to be sort of a big fish in a small pond. Not to mention they fit more in with the Monster crowd last summer than the Main Stage bands. This year I don't think we're going to get an overwhelming amount of just one genre, and the Main stages will be more mixed. And I think I Prevail, if they play, would be Monster, just for the fact that they've never played the festival before.

Now that I think of it, has a band ever jumped right to Main Stage their first summer out? I think Asking Alexandria's the only one.

I thought it was understood that the main stages were for the poppier bands and the Monster stages were for the heavier ones regardless of popularity.

not true cuz fir was on main stage last year

I think Monster is definitely the "heavy" part of the festival, but Main has always been a pretty big mix. Last year it just worked out that most of the bands were pop-punk/pop-rock/old school played Main.

When you look at 2015, the Main stage bands were really eclectic, going from Memphis May Fire to Black Veil Brides to The Wonder Years to Family Force 5 to Never Shout Never. It all just depends on the year.

I Prevail will be the most popular band of 2017. They certainly will mainstage. They also now have the theme song "Come And Get It" for WWE NXT's Orlando PPV coming up soon which will have lots of viewers.
