I wonder how common buying physical copies of games will be in a few years time... guess going all in on digital as a games medium for consoles is contingent on easier access to high speed internet (Google plz), and high storage HDs becoming cheap enough for the average consumer to jump on board.

I bought the Show digitally but was stuck "installing" it for hours even with a decent (30 Mbps) internet speed.

 

I'm staying physical as long as I possibly can. I love my little plastic boxes.

The reveal in Until Dawn is pretty cool. How many chapters are there does anyone remember? I'm trying to beat it before Dark Souls 3.

 

If I'm paying full price for a game I prefer physical but if something is super cheap I don't mind digital only.

Too true. I got addicted to Civ Rev back before I got a gaming PC and after like 2 games of Civ V I already had like 20 hours of play.

 

I wanted to buy more games digitally but I can't turn down Amazons new release deals for prime members

Not buying digital until I have no other choice. Trade ins for me are killer.

 

Pretty much my thoughts.

 

I pretty much only buy physical unless the game is only digital like Smite or Rocket League or EA Access.

My 3DS is basically all physical just because I hate how Nintendo runs things with their digital stuff.

i literally have never paid more than $7 for a game. it's actually kinda shit because it means I don't get to enjoy games when they're new even when i want to haha. but most of the time i'm okay with it, i've got a huge backlog.

 

I may have gone up to $10, but very rarely do I pay over $7.50 for a single game, and it's usually the GOTY with all the DLC. I did have to pay for Burial at Sea separately, though, so there's stuff like that. I've gotten a lot out of Humble Bundle and other bundles.

 

i am drinking coffee at 10pm to stay up irresponsibly late to play dark souls

 

I went to bed early and now I've woken up and I'm struggling to sleep. It's like fucking Christmas.
