Someone commented on ETF's Instagram asking if they were playing and TJ said he wishes. Maybe he said no because he isn't allowed to tell?

The only reason they're on the list is because someone from the band tweeted someone from A Skylit Drive about how they'd see each other this summer.

 

I thought Counterparts was one of the bands who said they would never do Warped.

 

I listened to Brendan's Lead Singer Syndrome back in August and he mentioned they'd be open to doing it, but something about the offer has to be good enough. So maybe they were offered last year but the offer wasn't good enough?

 

I don't know what's going on behind the scenes, but maybe they were aware of the heavier direction the tour is going in this year and were convinced by a combo of that, KL playing, and a good offer? Just speculation, but they probably just got a good offer since they're cutting down even more stages and getting rid of that parent ticket thing.

 

I just love how sassy Warped's social media rep. is. Everyone else pretty much ignores the comment section, their rep. is just going to sass out some whiners.

 

I wouldn't be surprised if it was just Kevin.

 

Lots of people complaining about the "Portland" date being moved out to Salem. No one seems to whine about the "Chicago" date being in Tinley Park every year.

To confirm - unfortunately this we are no longer doing the Parents get in for free. Over the 23 years of the tour, the parents getting in for free was only instated for a couple of years. We will still have the Parent Reverse Daycare, so you can drop your parents off!

 

It's literally an hour drive lol (45 if you're fast) from Portland to Salem. People from the Salem area make the same hour trip up every year, they can do the same now. And people who say that the attendance numbers will have a massive dip lmao, there's just as many scene girls who worship Andy Biersack in Salem as there are Portland.

 

There will be a Skullcandy and a Hard Rock stage. Do we know any other sponsors yet?

 

Journeys, but that one is pretty obvious.

 

Then, you have people complaining about dates being in parking lots. Its Warped, half of the dates are in parking lots.

Thankfully, I haven't seen anyone going to the Las Vegas date complain about something yet. That date is spoiled compared to the rest.

 

People complaining about the Oregon date being in Salem are hilarious. Before 2009 the Oregon Warped date was in St. Helens which is basically just as far from Portland. That did not hurt attendance at all and was actually the best venue Warped has ever had in Oregon.

I honestly thought the Expo Center wasn't that great so I'm down for a new venue even if it means traveling a little bit. I do think that not being able to take public transit might hurt attendance a little bit, but I'm assuming they had trouble finding a venue in Portland.

Sounds like people who complain that the Camden, NJ date isn't in Philadelphia. That's pretty far. I mean you have to cross the Delaware River to reach Camden from Philly.

The minnesota warped date has been in the same damn place all but I think 2 or 3 years. Shakopee is a bitch to get to if you can't drive. Think someone said way back in thread that last year everything was set up in parking lot instead of the field? Please don't be this way this year.

 

Apparently the venue that the Buffalo date is at won't be doing concerts anymore after this summer.
