Seriously, please do. My advice would be to start with Is Dead. @KennedyBN will probably tell you to start at IWTTDYTS, which is also a really great album. I described these guys to a friend the other day as a more "punk" Brand New.

But please listen to them so I can hear your thoughts. They are up there with Brand New and all of the greats from that time in my book.

 

Every time I listen to Crime In Stereo Is Dead I kick myself for not checking them out earlier. They're exactly what I wanted when I was 17 but I didn't bother to get into them until last year.

 

IWTTDYTS is my favorite but Is Dead is a great place to start. I think that's where I started... Actually I can't remember if it was that or Troubled Stateside haha. They're all awesome.

 

Is Dead = winner

 

Then don't go. Simple as that.

 

And to be honest, they are one of the best live bands in the scene. I've seen them play "the same show" three times and I'd pay to see them again. They deserve every penny imo.

 

I totally forgot about captives til recently. Goddamn. Used to love that band

Here's another band who cropped up with that group of bands but kinda faded away. I was super into them too. Riyl brand new, of course

 

I won't. But i look forward to hopefully going again to see whatever they decide to put out.

Some people can watch the same show again. I can't. That's okay.

This band is so cool, thanks for the rec again

 

I'm pretty sure they have a full length coming out this year. They have two lead singers now though the singer who sings on movements and a new one that sort of has a more nasal sound. Should be really cool though.
