MLB is just going to have Kershaw play for every team next year to make the games shorter.

Considering I have the same name as one of the best 3B to play I will go with that one.

Man..they need to get with the program. The 1st pre-season game is there on March 31st. I don't know anything about construction so maybe they can do all that in a month.

Damn. I was trying to do this and all I could think of was Bobby Bonilla. Don't know how I forgot about him.

I have nothing for TP. Kind of depressing me cuz I feel like I know baseball well enough.

I'm going to be heading to the batting cages later today with a couple of buddies and I'm excited to miss every single thing that the machine throws at me.

When I tore my ACL it was at the beginning of basketball season and I missed basketball through tennis season and was out of sports until March which I went against my PT when I wasn't supposed to start until April.

I played on national softball teams from Jan - August. So once I started training in March I couldn't hit a softball even if it had been the size of a pumpkin for like a month.

Where I'm going with this is that it's incredible how fast your body can forget how to do stuff in such a short amount of time. I had to start from scratch to learn how to run again and I was like this is gonna be a piece of cake but no it was not.

I had to do some crazy as shit PT stuff like running backwards on a treadmill and having a parachute attached to me while my PT was also pulling against me trying to run.

It's was brutal but I know you're all wondering..I had one hell of a senior year bc I basically had a bionic knee.

I broke the same wrist in back to back years in middle school, never did PT for it, and now I definitely notice a mismatch in arm strength whenever I do work out.

The second time I broke that wrist was by sliding into second base poorly. I knew my wrist hurt, but I kept on catching the rest of the game

I wonder if at some point people are just going to completely stop even trying to run on Gary Sanchez

I was actually doing surprising decent on 50 mph so I decided to move up to 60 mph and also do decent.

I'm about ready to send my tape to the A's and get a contract because I'm cheap.

Market inefficiency of being able to hit 60 mph decently.

It works like running up a steep hill, running through water, or into wind but you don't have to have all of that with the parachute bc it makes the resistance the same so you can do it on a flat surface.

I can make good contact from both sides at 70. That's the only thing I can do really though and have a terrible arm. I played rec league a couple years in high school and my two best games were a 3 walk game and an 0-3 game with an RBI groundout. Actually the only two full games I've ever played in my life haha.

I like to think if I played little league something would've become of me but I was a soccer kid lol

I stopped playing little league pretty early on to focus on basketball and running. I did have a couple funny moments though. I was one of our main pitchers along with another kid that was pretty good. We were both asshole kids that got into punk and metal at an early age, so we kind of had a "fuck you" mentality. We'd talk AFI, Bouncing Souls, Rancid, Metallica, etc on the bench waiting to bat. I got tossed twice in my career. One was for intentionally beaning my friend in the shoulder after he hit a 2-run homer off me. My friend thought it was funny and we joked about it at school the next day. He said he knew what I was doing and that he leaned in to make it more obvious. The other time I got tossed was for throwing illegal pitches. Our city league was weird and only allowed fastballs. Most of us figured out how to get away with change-ups too. But one game I said screw it and would throw curves to get the better hitters out. I got a couple warnings and then the boot. Good times.
